Always looking for an opportunity to raise funds for the activities of the Bassmasters of North Alabama and Junior Bassmasters of North Alabama clubs, this time we put Bassmasters Blake Gowen and Jay Stackhouse in the kitchen of Applebee’s on the Beltline in Decatur cooking a pancake breakfast for the citizens of Decatur.  They were under the supervision of Bassmaster Alan Kyle.  Jimmy Morgan assisted on the inside while the Littrell boys of JBMNA from Moulton, Mitchell Gowen, Dakota Morgan, and John Moore served as the waiters and waitress.  On hand to direct traffic, clean tables, and put up and take down the banners were Don Gowen, Eddie Borden, Peter Carulo, and Michael Moore.  Gail Gowen served as hostess and directed customers to their tables.  Next year, we will get better at this but will keep the same cooks and the staff….the food and service was excellent.  All net funds from this event were banked by the Junior Bassmasters of North Alabama to support the club’s team at the 2009 ABFN Junior Bassmasters State Championship Tournament scheduled for October 10, 2009
