ABFN MERCERY REGIONAL TOURNAMENT LAKE GUNTERSVILLE --  APRIL 17, 2010

Each year the Bassmasters of North Alabama sponsors our (6) top point leaders as a BMNA TEAM in one of the Alabama B.A.S.S. Federation

Nation Regional Tournaments. This year the club elected to participate in the 2nd ABFN Regional Tournament staged out of Lake Guntersville

State Park on the BIG "G" on Saturday, April 17, 2010. The BMNA TEAM consisted of the following anglers – their placement in the tournament

– and their weights:

TOTAL: 18 bass for total weight of 49.73 lbs.

* Dead fish penalty reduced weight

   

This was not a bad outing for the club since only one of our team anglers (Jimmy Morgan) had ever fished in an ABFN tournament.

CONGRADULATIONS goes to our ENTIRE TEAM and ESPECIALLY to Mike Lowery who placed in the TOP 5 of the tournament with

18.98 lbs. If Mike had not had one of his bass die and not incurred the dead fish penalty, he would have been in 2nd place.
